If you're using Abyss Web Server, you can refer to

to have PHP working as a CGI-binary.

4D WebSTAR V for Mac OS X supports the default CGI compile of PHP.

Note that most compile instructions for PHP on Mac OS X are specific to the Apache server.

To add PHP to Robin hood, a BeOS webserver, simply install Robin Hood
(http://www.bebits.com/app/2463) if needed.
Then download PHP (http://www.bebits.com/app/566/) and unzip it. Execute the script that it unzipped and you're all set :)

Just make sure you make your scripts executable to the world :) Save you a whole lot of hair-pulling.
