Skiping backup accounts

Introduction

I was looking around the net for some documentation on how to disable the backing up of certain accounts, only to find nothing. So after spending some time looking through the backup script, I found out that the functionality is already there.

Directions

So you want to disable the backing up of certain accounts. Luckily, it is very simple:

1. Open the file:
/etc/cpbackup-userskip.conf
(Most likely the file does not exist, otherwise you would not be here reading this.)
2. Add the user names of the accounts you want CPanel's backup script to skip, each on their own seperate line.

Ie: (if you wanted to add the users : bob, tom and sam)
bob
tom
sam
3. Save the file, and you are done. It is that simple.

Please note: this will not remove the old/already created backup files. If you are trying to save space, you should go in and delete the approriate backup files yourself.
